A trip to Fuji Speed way with Vaughn Bell for D1 and the SEVEN FEST that is 7/7/03

These two cars influenced me the most and made me do a crazy thing that day. I bought an RE Amemiya GT AD widebody kit and a AD 9 Bonnet like the Blue Leg sport car that looked sooooo awesome. Soon it would go on the car. 30% off.

Here we go... SE-37 W fitted to my beast! the mods have begun!

RAYS Volk SE37W forged Mag alloys in 18x8.5/225 and 9.5/255

next step get it lower!

My search for TE-37 led me to Hasegawa in west tokyo. They had some but I saw these RAYS SE-37W. wow different! Unique... Forged... just as light as TE-37 and more importantly on 118,000 yen with tyres.!!!!

a quick test fit had me thinking...

I continued to toy with the idea of TE37 but they dont look fat enough in +38 offset.? ????? why?

After I got back from Ku jyu kuri I created this photoshop. The first real direction for the FD. TE37 and few stickers would be enough, right? How wrong I was to be.

First Drive to Kujukuri!

I started off from my house and by the time I got to chiba I was getting tired. So I pulled over when I saw this uber cool Veilside FD!

The guys was more tired than me. must have been racing all night.
This car defines JDM! Streetable mods and stealthy at the same time. It really got me thinking about modding my car.

This was a long day that involved about 8-10 hours of driving on local roads as i had no experience with the expressway.

I eventually got to Ku Jyu kuri beach (90kilometers long). and took some pics.

Ku jyu kuri has a nice toll road. I tested the limiter on this run. Just after a saw a police car with a skyline pulled over... lucky ...

Then on the way home I took some pics of the expressways and Shinjuku.

It's here

It has arrived in it's true normal form. As the badge says it is an Efini RX-7.
Options include side skirts, fog lamps and rear spoiler. Rear muffler is HKS Super Dragger.

Interior has just a pivot horn button and an imola steering wheel to distinguish it from normal. A double din stereo is unexciting but enabled me to enter a scrolling "RE-Xtreme". thats cool.
